Our relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts our website and processes information about your use of it in order to provide and improve our service. Information you submit is sent to Shopify and to third parties that may be located outside the country where you live.
We also use certain Shopify enhanced features that draw on your interactions with our store, with other merchants and with Shopify. For these features, Shopify is responsible for processing your personal information and for responding to requests about your rights. You can read more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise your rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Our website's public pages are indexed by Google so they can appear in search results. This covers only pages anyone can view. We do not give Google your name, contact details or order information.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as those that keep items in your basket and let you check out. Shopify sets these. With your consent, we may also use cookies that help us understand how the website is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
6. How long we keep your information
- Order records: six years after the end of the financial year of your order, as tax law requires.
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to two years.
- Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
7. Security
Your information is stored on Shopify's systems, with access limited to the staff who need it. No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you and the regulator about a serious breach where the law requires it.
8. Transfers outside the UK
Shopify and some of our other providers may store or process information outside the UK, including in Canada, the United States and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by approved contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time;
- ask us to send your information to you or another organisation in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, email support@dhanditech.com. We will reply within one month and there is normally no charge. Some rights apply only in certain circumstances, and we may need to keep some information, for example order records required by law.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can ask someone else to make a request on your behalf. We will ask them for proof that you have authorised them, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly. We will not treat you less favourably for using any of these rights.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Our website and products are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Links to other websites
Our website may link to websites and platforms run by other organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy or security practices, so please read their own policies. A link from our website does not mean we endorse the site it leads to. Information you post on public platforms, such as social media, may be visible to other users of those platforms.
